FacetTerm configuration in Linux

FacetTerm configuration in Linux

There are certain steps that one needs to follow to make facetTerm configuration. 

  1. The “FacetWin” group will appear in your Start menu when one FacetWin installs on their PC.

 

 

2. When you define your first UNIX application, a group called “UNIX Applications” is automatically formed. The UNIX apps you will set up are located in this place by default in the Start menu.

3. It is quick and simple to create a UNIX application icon using the FacetWin “QuickLaunch” feature. Bring up the Windows Start Menu, choose the FacetWin group, and click “Add a UNIX Application” to start configuring a UNIX application. This operation will cause the dialog box to appear on the screen. 

 

 

4. Submit the “Connection” tab’s fields. At this time, do not click the “Use Windows User” box.

 

 

5. The “Start Me Up!” tab should be chosen.
