Difference between cloud and client/server computing

Question

please explain as briefly as possible
We all have heard of “cloud computing”, What is the difference between cloud computing and client/server computing. What types of resources are used on each. what kind of applications. And what type of security is supported by each?

Summary

In the above question, we have to explain in brief. That What is the difference between cloud computing and client/server computing. And What types of resources are used on each. And also what kind of applications, and what type of security is supported by each.

Explanation

  • Cloud computing:

Cloud computing is always has been in demand. Because it always has advanced tools to store the data. So we can have system resources that are delivered to users very quickly. With the use of the internet.

  • Client-server computing:

Client-server computing uses a traditional method to store data. So that means it uses physical devices to run the network system. This network is in day to day to use.

Some of the main differences between these two are as follows:

Cloud-Computing System

Client-Server Computing System

In this, there is the most useful internet. Because it always spread or distributes data and services using the internet to any server. In this, data is always spread through one server to another server.
Users using cloud computing systems can access the data anytime and from anywhere. So users will always be friendly to this. Users using Client-Server Computing System can access the data from the system where they stored their data.
It is less costly because there is no use of any hardware system is required. It is costly than a cloud computing system as each user has to use his own resources.
Maintenance of this system is easy. As one has to look only at a central system. Maintenance is a bit hard. Because one has look to at all the systems that are connected.
Large data storage space is available. Data storage space is always limited.
. It always requires an internet connection to be in contact with this system. Internet connection is not necessary for connection.

In a cloud computing system if there is not a proper internet connection is available. So the request that is sent will be failed.  Whereas in  Client-Server Computing System user uses the services that are provided by the servers.

So here we can see that as compared to client sever systems, cloud computing systems are fast, easy to use, reliable, and are costly.
